“If the information overload is getting you down, maybe its time to ask for help from your friendly librarian. Thats the message of this book, written by an author and heavy user of libraries. Johnson covers the changes in libraries, from quiet dusty places to those full of activity. She places special emphasis on obtaining information electronically, whether through the Internet, a database, or from a book found through electronic resources. Some of the chapters are better than others, but in the end, despite all the emphasis on online resources and hip librarians, the author settles down with a good book to refocus her life.
