Enough angst for a YA story, and way far away from the true reason we all read cornwell - the forensic pathology/thriller/mystery. “This was a most disappointing offering in a favorite series!! It made overt and unwelcome political commentary and was in general very weak in as much as storyline, plot, character development. It seemed Ms. Cornwell was so focused on inserting her agenda, that she left quite a lot of holes and unfinished/dead end points. Thumbs down”

“I think this was a pleasant surprise. I have taken a Cornwell break for a few years - it was just too much for a while - the characters got more and more weird and I just wasn't feeling it. This one was better than I feared it would be. Feint praise?”
