I have read these Hillerman books many years ago and enjoyed the storied very much. It is a lot of Indian lore and the author makes it all so interesting. I am glad I remembered the series and will renew my interest in finding more books that I haven't read.

I had listened to a Hillerman audio book before reading this novel and this one had the same Native American characters. The story and writing were only was okay. Some of the insights to traditional Navajos were interesting.
