- Nick Heller: Excellent character in the Jack Reacher mode. A former Special Forces member who'se not afraid to use his combat skills.
- Ken Harris: our hero is caught up in the mystery behind his brother's sudden disappearance. there are some stretches in the plot to tie all the loose ends together that may turn off some readers.
