I read this novel because it was popular with my younger high school students. It's three interlocking stories of three girlfriends. Each one can wear the pair of blue jeans and look great. It was a pleasant book, a quick read.

I loved this series! I loved how they all had one pair of jeans that fit them and made them feel great. I also liked the idea that the pants always kept them together no matter how far they drew apart. A must read for all teenage girls.

I am a huge fan of fiction works that are geared towards a tween, teen, and/or young adult audience. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is one of those books that will make you laugh, smile, and cry, all within the pages found between it's front and back cover.

I didn't love this book, but I didn't dislike it either. It was a feel good book that was a pleasure to read. It was inspiring, brilliantly written, and a whole lot of fun to read. I enjoyed the book to some extent, but I thought that it was a little too wordy. Even so, you can read it in a single sitting, as it is one of those books that does not require a great deal of thought to read.

Enjoyed this book enough to inspire me to see the movie. Liked the movie more than the book. Had I not seen the movie, I may have enjoyed the book more, and given it a higher rating.

A well written tale in the genre of total fluff -- definitely appealing to a teen, or one who wishes they were still there.

It is the four best friends first summer away from each other and when they think all hope is lost, A magic pair of pants which ironicaly fits all of them, will be the only thing keeping them together. Watch as the four beautiful, crazy, flirtascious, shy girl leave for thier first summer apart.

There's nothing like going back in time to my highschool days...the days where friends are your entire world. I really had fun reading this series.

Story of 4 girls who share the same pair of pants (at different times) and their experiences while wearing them.

this one wasn't very well written but it was a cute story. it actually made a better movie than a book. (maybe because the bad writing was replaced with good acting.) so save yourself the time and watch a cute movie instead!
