Girls in Pants (Sisterhood of Traveling Pants)

by Ann Brashares

The Pants first came to us at the perfect moment. That is, when we were splitting up for the first time. It was two summers ago when they first worked their magic, and last summer when they shook up our lives once again. You see, we don’t wear the Pants year-round. We let them rest so they are extra powerful when summer comes. (There was the time this spring when Carmen wore them to her mom’s... (read more)

i loved this book! It made me laugh, cry and and cry because I was laughing so hard. I have read the whole series. This is a must read! It isn't fake, everything turns out like a fantasy kind of book. It talks about real problems that young girls and boys face.

This book was good, kinda boring in the beginning, but good. It had like 5 different stories in it, so it was confusing.

This book was probably my favorite in the series. The author, Ann Brashares, really created some amazing characterization. I felt that she really kept the series going when it could have fallen flat as many other 3rd books do. A SMALL bit of mature content, but it is important to the plotline. I loved how the girls all went their own ways, but they still promised eachother to be together and you know that they will.

I just finished this awesome book! It even made my cry! I loved it so much. It was even better than the first two, don't get me wrong the other two were great!Any ways it was full of things that you would never even think Ann Brashares would think of, it was super cool. I dont want to give away any secrets so I will stop writing.

If you have read the first two Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants books, and enjoyed them, you will like this book as well. This whole series is about four best friends trying to stay together, when they are miles apart. They stay together using a pair of pants that they send to each other in the separate countries that they are in. It makes me happy to read, because it reminds me of my experience with my camp friends. My camp has people from all over the world, which is amazing, but bad at the same time. One of my best friends from camp lives in France, so i only really see her at camp each summer. Just like the four best friends in this book, i try my best to stay in touch with her throughout the year, although we are miles apart, and instead of using pants, we stay in touch via emails, ims, and letters. It is a vert "girly" book, but fun to read, and very easy to relate to.

This book was great! The girls are really growing up and becoming more introspective in their lives.

Throughout the book, you laugh, cry, smile, gasp, and yell. The dialog is realistic and moving, and the narrative is nearly flawless.

Brashares is an excellent writter. It's sad that there is only one more book it this series.
