“This is the third book in Georgia Evans' Brytewood trilogy. It is the story of returning war hero Gryffyth Pendragon who has lost his leg in the war. He is certain no woman will want him until evacuee teacher, Mary LaPrioux, asks him to dance at this homecoming party. She's not sure about hooking up with him until she knows thay will be sexually compatible. As the villagers of Brytewood continue to fight off the vampires sent by the Nazis, love is in the air.
I found this book the best in the series. The villagers are eccentric but good people. I hate to say good-bye to them. I enjoy how they work together to get through the shortages and restrictions. The ending is left open for a possible sequel, which I hope happens. I joined these people and the glimpse into life during WWII.”
“this is the third book in the series. i loved all three. georgia evans writes a wonderful story set in world war 2. the characters are terrific, they included pixies, sprites, and a dragon or two.
