Such a satisfying read! I loved the main character and was rooting for her the entire time! What I loved most about the book was how it kept taking surprising turns that always ended up being for the better. I remember thinking "oh no, something bad must surely come of this," and instead it turned out comically positive. I loved it and I definitely recommend it.

The basic moral to this story was not to judge a book by its cover but whilst labouring this point I found the book extremely superficial. Even though it had a happy ending it wasn't until Jemima was "fab" that Ben even looked at her.

This was the first girly book I've read, a friend loaned it to me. I can see why these tyes of books are addicting, can't we all relate in some way to Jemima. I've since read others by Jane Green, but this one was my favorite by far. If you are looking for something light and fun, also check out Marian Keyes, Last Chance Saloon.

Kitcha78, I thought this was a fun summer time read until the truth came out about her "love interest". I thought that was just entirely too unbelievable and wanted to throw the book against the wall. lol
