Facts: The City of Ember is the first "book of Ember" and will become a full length film on October 10th 2008. I have heard from a trusted advisor that books two and three are unnecessary and that the first book should be left alone as a complete story. From what I hear, she is right. Opinion: Somehow, though this book takes place in the small city of Ember until the very end and is written in a simple, modern style, it kept my attention well. I enjoyed it more during the read than looking...
