This is a famous series so nothing I can say will help or hurt it. Still, it's fun to read. The cat in question is a siamese and the author is able to convey her love and respect for the breed in a breezy way. The solution to the mystery is somewhat bland, but the companionable tone of the book is what made this series a success.

How corny was this book!! Contrived and dumb, I can't believe this woman still writes them and people still read them. I read this for my online book club.
