Didn’t Like It “I've been very disappointed in the later books in this series. They just don't have much of a mystery element. This book sort of had a mystery, but the resolution of it had nothing to do with Koko and his owner. I will probably still read the series just cause it's like catching up with old friends.” see full review » see other reviews » |

“The Cat Who series books are never what I'd call a great read, but once you get to know a character like Quill (and Koko and Yum Yum) they become a little like distant cousins. I don't want to hang out with them every day, I just want get an update once in a while to see what's going on.”

“While there's not much of a mystery to this book, I always enjoy reading about the eccentric characters of Moose County. Not surprisingly, everyone owns a cat or wants one. Cat haters are suspicious characters. ”

“I'm a cult reader. I love to read books by Lilian Jackson Braun. This one is pretty good. It helps to have read all the others that came before.”
