“Pretty good and atmospheric. Lovely story. The only complaint I have, and I think this was the same for Labyrinth too, is the author's use of similes and metaphors. My hackles go up every time I read firelight described as 'dancing' or someone's eyes described as 'clever'. This was a short book, though. So there were mercifully few of these types of poetic flourishes. ”
