Syaoran is a young man who lives in a small village that has a princess who's name is Sakura. Sakura has the power to change the world, but she doesn't know this. Syaoran really likes Sakura, and vise versa, but they are really shy towards each other. Syaoran is an architect in the village, and he is well known of his talent in his village. One day, Syaoran discovers a mystical ruin, and Sakura shows up to give him lunch. The ruin falls apart, as if to say "Sakura you are special, you can change the world" Sakura's memories are erased, magically. Syaoran knows that there is something wrong with Sakura, so he begins his magical journey, in a parallel universe, and he looks for Sakura's memories. He needs help looking for Sakura's memories, so a witch decides to help him, but she needs compensation. Syaoran has to give up his relationship with Sakura, so that even if Sakura gets her memories back, she would have none of Syaoran. I have to wait until the next volume to see what happens next:)

  • Sakura: As the princess of Clow Country, she is loved by everyone in the place she lives. One day, while visiting the ruins that Syaoran works at, she lost her memories and she travels with him in order to get her memories back.
  • Syaoran: An archeologist in Clow Country. Syaoran works at the ruins where his father worked and died in an accident. Syaoran loves discovering new things about history and other worlds. After Sakura's memories were scattered, Syaoran went out with her to get them back, giving up Sakura's memories of him that they had since they were little children.
  • Kurogane: Kurogane worked as a ninja in Japan before he was sent out on his journey. His princess, Tomoyo, believed that going on this journey would show Kurogane what true strength was and cursed him with a seal that said if he killed anyone, his strength would lessen. He gave up his sword in order to travel.
  • Fai: Fai ran away from his home world in order to escape something. He gave up the tattoo on his back in order to journey with the group. He smiles constantly and often calls Kurogane names that irritate him.
  • Mokona: Mokona is a magical creature that allows Syaoran and the others to travel from world to world. Mokona is often cheerful, smiling and making fun of Kurogane with Fai.
  • Yuuko Ichihara: Yuuko is also known as the Dimensional Witch. She is the one that gave Mokona to the traveling group, as well as taking what is dear to them in order to keep balance in the universe.
