- Lily Ivory: Vintage clothes shop owner and main character of the story. She is a witch.
- Sandra Schmidt: Owner of a shop on Haight Street. She is a nosy neighbour.
- Max Carmichael: Mythbuster
- Aidan Rhodes: Male witch
- Frances Potts: Elderly lady who has vintage clothes that Lily is interested in. One of her daughters disappeared years ago. She still grieves for that.
- Herve LaMansec: Professional Voodoo priest.
- Bronwyn: Lily's shop assistant. She sells her own collection of Wicca-related products from a corner of Lily's shop and helps with the vintage clothes.
- Maya: Another assistant of Lily's.
- Oscar: Lily's familiar. Usually takes the form of a pig in the company of people without magical abilities.
