What is special is “talent plus,” the term leadership author John C. Maxwell uses to describe the achievement level of people who maximize their talents. Maxwell says you must add effort to talent to make it matter.   “This book exposed why talented people end up as failures in their own eyes. It did not say directly but i think an obvious talent in an individual might detract from the needed determination by the individual to succeed. A good book for the talented who fears that he might fail and wants to stop that from happening.”
