“This is the second of the original books. The story is about Graham Winters, alpha of the Silverback pack, and Melissa "Missy" Jane Roper. I loved the way this story started. You get the idea that these four friends really didn't want to participate in the fantasy fixes that Ava was determined to foist on them. Missy is a sweet character and I was glad that she was able to find the confidence to become Graham's mate. There are some really funny moments in this books were Graham is trying to keep on Missy's better side. You also get to know more about Samantha, Annie and Logan. I am still hoping that Annie gets her own book. I liked her quite a bit in this story. The villain in this story is just an irritating, sniveling whelp that doesn't get what he really deserves. This is another very good paranormal story that most fans will probably enjoy.”

“This was the second book in the series I read and I loved it. Even though I read a few critical reviews on this book before I started to read it, they actually didn't discourage me from reading the story. Graham was actually kind of sweet in the first book and Missy was a really good friend to Regina, the female protagonist of the first book.

After the initial few pages, when Graham and Missy met at Dimitri's and Regina's wedding, they actually fell head first into bed, which I found kind of iffy. I don't like my characters that obvious in the first 100 pages, but oh well, it got better the further I read. The story evolved when Curtis was trying to be Alpha of the Silverback Clan and Graham actually had to do something about him.
Unfortunately there wasn't any big intrigue or scheming going on, which made the story a lot less action packed than I'm used to from my paranormal romance authors.
Still, if you love a rather typical but sweet story check this out. It also doesn't hurt if you plan to read the actual Other series by Christine Warren, because then this book explains the whole lupine system to you, as well as introduces you to Sam and Logan, who will have their own books later in the series.”

“I think I had read this book before or at least started it..lol..all I can say is I want me a Graham of my very own..lol..gives some good info on the ways of the Silverback Clan..”

“Adoring how clueless Graham can be, and how much I can relate to Missy. Men just can't communicate right, its so funny and perfect that he says its because he's lupine, but god knows human men are the same damn way. :) I love this series, I loved these characters, they were unbelievable as much as they were believable.”
