Not a bad book, but I think it is somewhat overrated. The author seemed more concerned with poetic phrasing that he did with getting on with the story. I am glad that I read it because of its literary status, but I would only give it a six on the ten scale. It contained no true enlightenments that shook my soul.

I am not sure who wrote the editorial review for Shelfari on this book, but they lose a lot of credibility with me when they cannot even get the main character of the books name correct. Willie Talos? Who is this?

Very good, easy reading, story of power corrupting absolutely.
