Characters/People edit see section history

  • Kayla Brown: High school senior who hooks up with an older male, distances herself from her usual assortment of friends, and finds out quickly that peer pressure is a b***h!
  • Tamika: Kayla's best friend since the 3rd grade. Her boyfriend is Donovan and she is opposite Kayla in almost every way. She is very grounded and has very concrete plans for the future... not allowing anyone or anything to stand in her way.
  • Donovan: Tamika's boyfriend and star wide receiver for his high school football team. He is an opportunist and very sure of himself... almost to the degree of utmost arrogance and conceit. He has convinced himself that he will one day be playing professional football.
  • Carmine: A love interest of Kayla. He clearly only wants one thing from her, but in all of her naiveity, she is totally unaware of his ulterior motives. He is very mysterious and none of her friends trust his intentions... with good reason!
