“A beautifully written rather "beautifully composed" tale of romance developing in Sundarbans. I love the book for its language and its composition. If it would have been written by any other author i wouldn't have gone trough it. Kudos to Amitav Ghosh. ”

“A different kind of story, going in its own pace. Dint realize it has come to an end at all. The vivid description of the tide country and the various phenomenon, both fictitious and real alike, were really captivating. A simple story in the end, yet there was a depth to it that kept it away from the other normal stories. A good pick up unless you want real fictitious thrillers.. ”

“Very nicely described the Sunderbon, the Ganga and Bramhaputra delta at the top of Bay of Bengal. This is the place famous for Royal Bengal Tigers.”
