“Shitty. Pointless and unnecessarily gross. I know anal beads exist, but do I have to read about them breaking off in the narrator's rectum? The answer should be no and that's why I'm banning this book from my real life bookshelf.”

“I thought it was a good read. It's slow in some parts and goes back and forth that kinda makes your head hurt, but ironically enough the author says in the beginning that that will happen and you're not gonna like it. So therefore I almost chuckled when it was happening (call me crazy). It's Chuck Palahniuk's book about sex if Fight Club is his novel about violence. Very similar to Fight Club in that most of the really interesting stuff is in the middle and then the ending just kind of happens. I liked it and this book had one of those rare moments where a paragraph spoke to me and shined some light on something I hadn't really ever realized in life.”

“How did I not read this book eariler. Palahniuk writes in detail that both horrify and excite you. I finished the book in one sitting, no matter how often I tried to put it down it called to me until I was finished. ”
