  “I really liked it although I wasn't in the mood for such misterious, dark literature. I think the main idea is that the most terrifing thing is to meet your inner self... face to face. The characters were afraid of the golem because they were all vicious and miserable. Instead, the main character, Pernath, is the only one who somehow survives and exceeds his human, mortal state. I guess I'll read it again sometime and try to understand it better.”

  “Strange and eerily beautiful. I read it in German, so I'm not sure how this translation is, but it's my favorite Golem book.”
