With the adventures set forth in the first books now behind them, Kingdom Keepers 3: Disney In Shadow follows the five teens, Finn, Philby, Willa, Charlene, and Maybeck as they search to find Wayne, their mentor and head Imagineer who has mysteriously gone missing. Concerned Wayne has been abducted by the Overtakers. Disney villains, who along with other Disney characters, take over the parks when the turnstiles stop spinning, and want desperately to steer the parks to a far darker place. Then five of the kids pick up a major clue from a close friend, Jez, whose dreams (nightmares, really) often accurately predict the future.
“Beware your friends and know your enemies.”Wayne
“Philby was a man of purpose. Everything he did seemed calculated, a means to the end; if anything, the guy didn't loosen up enough. So if Philby wanted to tie a bunch of shoes together while going in the excess of ninety miles per hour, riding in a car about to jump the track and kill Finn along with him, then so be it: tie away”Finn Whitman
““It’s not either. It’s a good movie,” Charlene insisted. “And it has a good message.” “Which is: ‘You’re never too young for plastic surgery,’” said Maybeck. They all laughed, even Charlene.”Maybeck
““When in doubt…?” Philby said to Finn. “Google it!” Finn answered.”Philby, Finn
““Hold on? I’m flat as a pancake over here, Charlene, and I’m about to lose my cookies. And that makes pancakes and cookies, and that’s not pretty.””Maybeck
