Well, bad ideas have bad consequences, and the trouble is the intellectuals who peddle them don't bear the burden of their invalidated theories, as Thomas Sowell has been pointing out for decades. Heather MacDonald, Fellow at the Manhattan Institute, chronicles a seemingly never-ending litany of really stupid ideas that you have to have a PhD to believe they'd work. This is a fantastic book, by an informed and informative writer.”
