A fairy tale (or rather, ballet) retold, from the unorthodox point of view of one of the traditional villains of the story. I love the magic rules in this story, and find myself liking and respecting Odile far more than I would have imagined. I found myself more interested in her than in the "hero" and "heroine".

While I love the story of the Swan Princess, this adaption was not the greatest. Odile and Odette had great potential, but they had little time to develop with the constant cutting to Prince Sigfried- who was a complete moron- and his mother in the other kingdom. It dragged quite a bit, and was uninteresting.
