The stages of Grief by Kubler-Ross are identified as denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

* Denial (this isn’t happening to me!)
* Anger (why is this happening to me?)
* Bargaining (I promise I’ll be a better person if…)
* Depression (I don’t care anymore)
* Acceptance (I’m ready for whatever comes)

She is writing this to people who are dying or in real turmoil, but how can you apply this to your life? Why not take hold of life now? You display these stages in more then just sickness, you can display these in brand campaigns gone bad. These stages can be shown in personal relationships, even dating.

In the book, Love Miracles and Medicine by Bernie Seigal, the author writes, “Unconditional love is the most powerful stimulant of the immune system. The truth is: love heals. Miracles happen to exceptional patients every day–patients who have the courage to love, those who have the courage to work with their doctors to participate in and influence their own recovery.”
