This is a book from my high school days that I really liked. Can't say that I have re-read it since then, but as a teenage girl who had a friend she lived vicariously through, this book was almsot true to life. Block's writing is modern fantasy and very hard yet whimsical. I just remembered that I liked it.

Didn’t Like It

I finished this one in a day. I don't think I am the target audience for this book which may influence why I didn't think it was so hot. Sure, I stuck with it to the end, but I couldn't find myself really caring one way or the other about any of the characters. I also found the storyline totally unbelievable. Maybe this type of world exists for some teens, but it was SO far removed from my experience and the experience of anyone that I know that I just couldn't imagine it could happen. This...
