• Nicholas Argeneau: Currently considered a rouge immortal, he has been on the run for 50 years after being accused of bruitally murdering a pregnant women in a fit of grief over his deceased lifemate. In previous books we know Nicholas to although rouge continue to track down other rouges to bring them to justice and has previously saved Dani and Stephanie from rouges.
• Josephine Willan: "Jo" - Works as a bar manager and goes to school part time. She is the sister of Samantha "Sam" Willan (Mortimer's lifemate).
• Garrett Mortimer: A enforcer. He is an immortal and hunts rouge immortals. He is currently hunting Nicholas.
• Samantha Willan: "Sam" - Jo and Alex Willan's sister. She is Mortimer's life mate, but refuses to be turned into an immortal until she finds life mates for her sisters so she doesn't have to leave them when they age and she doesn't.
• Ernie: A rouge vampire who Nicholas is tracking and who is bent on kidnapping Jo.
• Alexandra Willan: "Alex" - Sam and Jo's sister. She is mortal.
• Justin Bricker: An enforcer.
• Charlie: Jo's German shepherd
• Annie Argeneau: Nicholas' deceased lifemate.
• Lucian Argeneau: Member of the Immortal council, he investigates and tries rouge vampires. He is also the uncle to the majority of the Argeneau vampire clan.
• Dee: Mortal slave/blood source for Ernie.
• Armand Argeneau: Nicholas' father, who never leaves his farm and is estranged from the family.
• Leonius Livius II: "Leo" He is Ernie's father.
