I really liked this one, fast to read. I agree that it was kind of a nice change from the regular Koontz.
I thought it was pretty good. Pretty fast moving plot. Good for a quick read.
I WANT TO BE THE FIRST :P
I prefer his older stuff. However, this is one of my favorite newer novels. I agree the ending kind of took a plunge in the believability department, war hero or not ... However, the rest was an engaging story with great characters. All in all, an enjoyable read.

i gotta have this book!!!
Sorry to say this but this is one of the worst books I have read. I have read other Dean Koontz books before and thoughts perhaps this new one would be good but ended up sorely disappointed.
What didn't you like about it, aravind? I am new to reading Kootz...I liked The Husband, Lightning, and Watchers...couldn't finish Velocity cause it freaked me out...but I like "The Good Guy" pretty well.
It seemed to start off well but then I found the rest of the book was dragging along and you keep wondering what the plot is likely to be and I somehow felt that it ended pretty lame :). I am new to Koontz as well now just beginning to think maybe this is not for me.
Don't give up, he has a few unlike the normal, and The Good Guy happens to be one. But his other books are sensational, keeps you in suspence during the entire book. I am a big fan and would tell everyone to try at least one book, like "TickTock", Or "Intensity".
Velocity. I would like to read it. Is it suspenseful
I just loved this book! Unbelievable pace - like No Country of Old Men married to 24!
This is a great read. I took this book everywhere. It was incredibly suspenseful to me. Tim was quite a surprise for me.
I liked the book, although it was a little too simple for me. That right Jatissa, Tim was a wonderful character - i really liked him. I wish everyone could go the extra mile like he did. I was hoping there would be a really surprising story about him, but he was just a marine. I was hoping for lots of surprises but none came - not even at the end. I was actually a little disappointed. However, there were a lot of interesting scenes.
I enjoyed this book a lot. It was exciting and it kept me guessing. I love Koontz any way. I don't know that I've read a Koontz that I didn't like. Maybe "Demon Seed."
I ENJOYED THIS BOOK ESPECIALLY THE CAR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HOUSE........LOL..I ALSO ENJOYED THE SUSPENSE CARRIED ON THREW OUT THE BOOK........BUT I AGREE WITH ADIYA IT WAS A LITTLE SIMPLE COMPARED TO SOME OF THE OTHER BOOKS FROM KOONTZ.......BUT I LOVE KOONTZ BOOKS............
