The book kept me on the edge. It was non-stop on the edge of my chair wondering what will happen next, will she get caught, hoping she will get away type of thing. I have found few books that kept me on the edge through the whole book.

I don't think that I have ever read a book that was more aptly named!

Like most other Dean Koontz books, the bad guy is chillingly inhuman ,and the life of the main character disintegrates into a complete mess after one point of time...! Enter this world....where logic has no place and fear abounds in plenty...

With the way in which our society is these days, it doesn't surprise me that many people found this book to be entertaining. Sorry, but blowing innocent people's heads off, raping young women, and sewing people's eyes shut, just doesn't entertain me. Shame on Koontz for writing such garbage.

I didn't find Koontz book "Intensity" to be trash either. I couldn't put the book down. It had been made into a t.v. movie. While it didn't quite follow the book in some areas it was one of the most "sit on the edge of your seat" movies I've seen in a long time. It was on The Lifetime channel.
