It is fun when Dean Koontz really stretches his imagination. I loved the way this story built upon itself, a common trait in Dean Koontz books. Saying too much would give this story away. Suffice it to say that this is a page turner. I could hardly put it down. The characters are dark, mysterious, and a little supernatural. The character creation is awesome as always. This is a very fun read.

I love the suspense books of Stephen King (not so much the hard core horror). Wanted to find another author like him. This book was OK, but don't think I'm sold enough to try another Koontz.

Nice entertainment. Can't-put-it-down pacing and storyline. Clever plots that are easily forgotten by the time his next story comes around. Sometimes he gets truly verbose, but hey, that's his style. TV-in-print. The fastfood of fiction.
