"Life expectancy" is the first book of Dean Koontz that I've ever read, and it's surely not the last one. Excepted what reveals the synopsis, (which occurs at the beginning of the book) there isn't no "supernatural" events in it, for those who were afraid that it would be a ghost book or something like that.

It's easy to read, funny, full of suspense at some points, really moving at some others, the author really knows how to make a reader feel involved & care for the characters, the story is addicting and unpredictable and, as a result of all these qualities, I honestly didn't feel the 400 pages of my edition.
