It was a bit long, but I did enjoy the twists and turns along the way. The character development was great, especially Mary Swan. I would definitely recommend this book. Lots of sensitive subjects covered: racism, mental illness, loss. Very good.”

What I didn't like were some of the overt religious sections. A few felt more like commercial interruptions than a flowing part of the story. I didn't mind, but I would have preferred them to be a tad bit more subtle.”
