Didn’t Like It“Well, this story was a little less exciting than most, but I have to say it was kinda cool to learn about radio and DJs. It felt a little too... calculated. You know, "Girl doesn't want guy, guy tries to resist girl, they start liking the same food, they miss each other but don't realize it." ...” see full review » see other reviews » |

Between the mystery and band of idiots that you meet throughout the story, the book is entertaining enough without being straight out fantastic. ”

I thoroughly love her down-to-earth characters and the witty and charming escapades they embark on. This story was enthralling, enchanting, witty and engaging!”

You know, "Girl doesn't want guy, guy tries to resist girl, they start liking the same food, they miss each other but don't realize it." I wasn't particularly drawn to Charlie as the main guy, either. But. But? Well, what can I say -- it was fun anyway. Still a classic Crusie; I can't say I didn't enjoy reading it! 2 and 1/2 stars because I would read it again.
This was one of her PH-13 rated novels, so a little more subtle and a little less frequent in terms of love scenes (I don't remember the F-bomb being thrown around in this one).
PG-13”
“Charlie doesn't want to be famous. Allie sets out tomake his show a success. The two of them click.they're addicted. Bit of behind the scenes mystery compels charlie to seek the truth.Charlie is too honest to let it slide. All should be worked out before he leaves in November.”

Although I didn't enjoy it as much as the other two (Bet Me and Anyone But You) it was still an enjoyable, light read. I actually think it deserves 3 1/2 stars.”
