  “I like the quick readability of the Sandford novels. His main character is a person that just about every upstanding citizen can like...man or woman. A man's man and a woman's man. James Garner could have played this part well, in his younger days. There are violent crimes, but the degree of explicity is contained, and I appreciate that. The fun is in figuring out if he will catch them or not...he doesn't always.”

  “I read all Sandford's Prey books, but this is the series I have affection for. Brilliant heroes that I feel warmth for.”
