“Although I enjoy manga and comics, I'm not a big superhero story fan. Still, this book is a great way to highlight the many Asian-American talents in the graphic-novel/comic world. The fave for me was "You Are What You Eat."”

Almost two-thirds of the stories collected are "teaser" superhero stories about teens discovering that they have amazing super powers while also learning to deal with being an asian american "other" in the U.S. And while superhero comics are a pretty popular genre, it's not the only one.
Not to say that the comics they did have weren't great. One in particular that stood out to me was "Sidekicks" by Gene Yang & Michael Kang. It was a nice story derived from Bruce Lee's character in the Green Hornet series.......!
All in all, I would say that this is a nice beginning for an emerging new batch of comic book series and I hope they expand on a few of these storylines. ”
