If you're not a fan of David Foster Wallace, this may be a good place to start. The stories in this collection are a little less complex than some, but no less rich. Start here, and you'll be reading Infinite Jest in no time.”

I guess the last story is referring to Lost in the Funhouse by John Barth, which I have not read, so that might attribute to my confusion.”
