“It seems like everyone else in the world loved this book ... except me. Oh, I really do dislike it. To start with, in all the years I've been either a library patron or employee, this is the only book that I've checked out that I ruined. Not once, but twice did I spill stuff all over it. That should have been a clue! Seriously though, I spent 3/4 of the book angry and frustrated with the two main characters, and after one particularly cringe-worthy love scene I decided I couldn't stomach any more. It had potential and some of the subject matter was very interesting, but I just really couldn't stand it overall. ”
