First volume in the Rosy Crucifixion Series, originally published not by the Olympia Press, but rather Editions du Chene, Girodias' prior imprint (he was forced out after financial difficulties). Sexus is among Miller's most diverting works, at times erudite, dull, erotic and tame, chronicling the author's first wife, his final days in New York, his crushing failures, and his many women.
