I have read Outlander and read it in record time. I started Dragonfly in Amber and I am stuck. I am considering buying the audio book to see if I can zoom through the slow spots. I know it is a good read but the slow spots are getting me down.

    1. Outlander 2. Dragonfly in Amber 3. Voyager 4. Drums of Autumn 5. Fiery Cross 6. Breath of Snow and Ashes. Ahhhh. Always my favorites. If you haven't listened to the audio books they are fab too!

I'd like to put this series in order on my shelf. How do I do that?

Enjoy the story and don't give up! I got completely lost in the politics -- both times I read it. The next books are even better -- then it changes to American politics (if you're American, then it's easier!). Just love Jamie and Claire and forget the politics!

Okay, I must admit that I absolutely get lost once I open the book but I am struggling with the size of it! I have so much I want to read...I am almost stressed! Good thing I am really enjoying the story. I am not sure I will have the guts to read the next one...

I just love a hot-blooded Scotsman paired with a strong smart woman. There are so few "real" women in "romance" novels that I found myself reading the whole series - escapist literature at it's best.

I picked the Outlander book out of a book sale shelf years ago. Five years later I picked out Drums of Autumn from another book sale. I was so surprised and figured I was meant to search for the entire series. Now I've donated the two used books and bought brand new ones of the entire series. My next target is to collect the Lord John ones... hopefully in paperback. This series is definitely one of the most alive novels I have ever read.

I accidentally read this one first also!! Then I found a great hardcover version of Outlander at the thrift store. It was the original book that came out first, so I kept it and have read all the others now. I have not read the two Lord John books though.

I just read Outlander and enjoyed it. I know some folks who are NUTS about this series and those folks really vary so I guess there is some wide appeal.
