While I'm hooked on this series and I enjoyed it, this was even more far-fetched than the previous, with a crisis and new setting nearly every day in the ~5 months that the story covers. I just enjoy the two main characters, their romance, and their seeming supernatural ability to handle everything life throws them.

Read it before - it's now in the queue to read again. Great book.

Even better the second time. This is the best of escapist fiction.

Scotland to Boston, back to Scotland then to France and the West Indies. Geilis makes an appearance or two. Claire finds out about Jaime's last twenty years without her.

Getting just a wee bit stale but I just can't get enough of Claire and Jamie. There is nothing that a little time travel, romance and action won't cure. I will take a small break but will be reading the rest of the series.

Am in the process of reading all of the Outlander and Lord John series in GREAT anticipation of book #8. I think this is my 3rd or 4th re-read of Voyager. These books only get better and better with each read. :D

Nope....900 pages of this drivel is too much for me. ( or is it dribble :) Just my opinion though.
