This was an average chick lit read for me, not too bad, not too memorable. There were many areas where Curnyn could have expanded (why Ethan is a jerk, more interaction with Michael, etc) but I am glad she did not. Sometimes chick lit stories have too many additions like that which take away from the main story. I did enjoy the relationship with Jonathan even if it did seem a little too contrived and perfect at times.
