Cat comes up with a brilliant experiment to submit to this year's science fair: she will take on the lifestyle of those from the prehistoric age by eating naturally prepared foods and walking instead of taking a car, and she will observe the results. An overweight teenager, the results of her new diet and exercise soon attract quite a number of boys. Meanwhile, her former best friend, Matt, is suddenly vying for her attention, to Cat's bafflement.
