It reveals so many things about India that were buried and lost to history that if your patriotism, identity, and love of India were ever on the border this book will not only restore it but put it at a place from which it cannot be dismantled. A thorough portrayal of India and its contributions to the world in the fields of math, science, democracy, and philosophy. A great reminder also that there is still a lot of work to be done to achieve greatness.

It is by far the most interesting read on Indian minds....From Tagore to Sen, the book talks about eolved minds further evolving and taking a vast cultural and multilingual blend of politicians, economists and social reformists making India what it rarely seems to be,but really is.
