For those of you who liked this book, another of the same ilk but even funnier is "Good Omens" by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. It's an hilarious rewrite of the Apocalypse, irreverent and laugh-out-loud!

Great choice! Although Good Omens is much, much better. I read it right before this book, and had the hardest time getting into Lamb - mainly because where Gaiman and Pratchett surprise and catch you off guard, Moore seems like he's trying too hard to be witty. I hate to say it, as I did enjoy the book, but the style of writing almost reminds me of the new marketing campaigns trying to be familiar or informal - things like what's written on Burger King drink cups. Overall, I think I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't read Good Omens first, but it is good and worth reading. Anyone thinking of reading both, though, should definitely read this one first.
