For those of you who liked this book, another of the same ilk but even funnier is "Good Omens" by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. It's an hilarious rewrite of the Apocalypse, irreverent and laugh-out-loud!

I agree with Jesskat, the fart and sex commentary got old quick but the book went on forever. I agree Moore can write but I wanted to know more about Biff's pal and not Biff. That was the point of waking him from the dead wasn't it? I can appreciate why some readers enjoyed it. Me, I got bored. Too bored to finish it.

Clever, well written, and not entirely imaginary (I smell references to the Apochrypha, which, having been a religion major, I should have read 40 years ago). It's a great romp. Lots of laughs with a layer of seriousness, too.

The best Chrismas gift I ever bought myself-- funny and irreverent. It reminds us all that life shouldn't be taken so seriously. Laughter is truly divine, as Moore so eloquently wrote.

I just got this book yesterday from a colleague. I read one page of Chapter 1 before lunch. After I stopped laughing enough to talk again, I almost opted out of our lunch plans to read. Instead, she came by later in the afternoon for a break and asked me to read something funny to her. Nice to share a laugh during the work day! This book - what I've read of it so far - is a riot.
