“As far as aliens, like Fox Mulder on the old X-Files show, I want to believe, and I feel that it would be interesting if evidence came forward that there was something out there. This is an interesting tale of an unexplained phenomena and I feel that anyone interested in the supposed phenomena of alien abduction will find this to be a good book. And that is what makes this great, is that it is unexplained. A mystery, like other odd phenomena, that should be explored further. This book is laid out in a very easy to read and straight forward style. As to it's authenticity, the jury may be out on that one for a while. And I think this is best left up to the reader to form their own opinion. If you do decide to read this don't forget to lift your head occasionally and scan the skies, let me know if you see anything strange out there.”Robert B wrote this review Wednesday, April 13, 2011. “a gripping and fascinating work. Mr. Romanek is generous with his experiences and details (even when they don't fall in his favor) and as such this book has left my mind reeling.”Gribshnobler wrote this review Monday, January 24, 2011. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“I really hope this book is true because If it isnt I find it harder to believe someone would make up these account than believe the actual accounts themselves. If you read this with an open mind that is could have really happened. This book is extraordinary.”William B wrote this review Thursday, July 15, 2010. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? “I won't say either way whether I believe Mr. Romanek or not. His story is fascinating either way. All I can wonder is why with all the new technology in video cameras and such, why no one has ever managed to catch a "non-blurry" photo of an alien or UFO. I also find it creepy that in almost all stories of alien abductions, the "abductee" always seems to experience terror; that if some of the contact was to impart some "wisdom" why is it that the abductees are made to forget their experiences; and anything that has to do things in secret, or using deception and such, cannot "be good".
Each reader will have to decide for themselves as to what they believe. Personally I have my own suspicions...but I will leave it at that.”
“I found this book to be a page turner. Romanek is very believable, but he does not jump to conclusions which is refreshing! I highly recommend it to anyone who is curious about the alien abduction phenomenon.
It appears that in Stan's case too the military plays a part but it is not clear how or why. After reading this book I listened to coast to coast am where I listened to Melinda Leslie, a woman who studies abductions. See here what she writes about:
" She finds that just as covert-ops personnel gathers and reverse-engineers ET craft, they also gather and reverse-engineer abductees – and for the same reason;
furthering development of secret advanced programs and technologies and control of the information."
It appears this could be what Stan has experienced as well.”
