Great! brings you all the way through her life, not just the begining of her reign.

Alison Weir is a wonderful biographer. She recognizes Elizabeth's strengths without becoming overly sentimental. I thik this is the best of her works.

queen elizabeth has always been one of my favorite historic icons... this book would make you pry in the challenges she so very well surmounted in life. allison weir must be a genuis to document that milieu in a very inspiring narrative mode.

Allison Weir does an outstanding job bringing readers into the world of Queen Elizabeth I.

This is one of my favorite biographies on the infamous queen, and Weir is an expert on the Tudor family.

    This is a must-read for biography/history junkies.
