i read this in high school. i enjoyed reading it. it is about a teenage schizophrenic girl who spends her teen years inside a mental institution, trying to get better. i enjoy reading psychological novels.

I saw the movie starred by the late Kathleen Quinlan. I like the story. When kids find reality inconvenient, they retreat to their own imaginations - to a world those of us who care enough will know a little about, but none of us will ever see.
