Liked It“Very interesting way to write about a relationship. You read the progress of the realationship through the descriptions of the lots that are to be auctioned. I was worried that it won't work but it was very effective. |
“Read this cover to cover, as it is geared toward thirty-somethings who breathe the arts and are somewhat voyeuristic in nature. In other words, those like me. The author's approach to character is novel, and she succeeds in developing them both as individuals and as a couple. It seems unrealistic that these artifacts would come to be "artifacts," though. As someone who has been in a number of relationships and loves fashion, I can say with some authority that the detritus of a relationship, particularly one that fails, does not survive and there is no way I am giving up my Dior/Lanvin. I just couldn't make it over that hump.”
