  “The second Detective Kubu mystery did not disappoint! This series gives a great sense of Botswana and the surrounding southern African countries. I find the character of Detective David Bengu (Kubu) to be very likeable and the mysteries to be sufficiently twisty without being outlandish. This story also gave a bit of history on how Rhodesia became Zimbabwe and what the current political situation is. Detective Kubu continues to make me long to return to Africa.”
